Conservation Technician

The Carlton Soil and Water Conservation District is seeking a motivated, independent worker to join our team!  Experience and/or education in agricultural practices, soil health issues and wetlands are desired.  A working knowledge of GIS mapping and Microsoft programs is preferred.  Successful candidate will join a productive team to conduct conservation project work with an agricultural focus throughout Carlton County.  This is a 40 hour/week position contingent on future funding in SWCD programs.  Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Applications should be emailed to Brad Matlack, or mailed to Carlton SWCD, Attn:  Brad Matlack, 808 3rd Street, Carlton MN 55718.  Contact Brad Matlack at (218) 384-3891 with questions about this position.

 Carlton SWCD employees may qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program for student loans received under the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan (Direct Loan) Program.
